Natalie Trelstad – Kindergarten

Natalie Trelstad teaches Kindergarten at Create Academy. She has been active in the education field for over 6 years. Before teaching Kindergarten, Natalie taught theatre classes, music classes, dance classes and taught in the preschool setting. Natalie’s love of the arts began at an early age, growing up in a very musical home. She has participated in many theatre productions and learned how to play several musical instruments.

Create Academy is a school near to Natalie’s heart. Natalie contributed towards writing curriculum for the charter application and has been teaching Kindergarten since Create Academy’s opening year. All three aspects of the mission (arts integration, social justice and project based learning) are, in her opinion, essential parts of elementary education.
